Ford Transit Custom At Sandicliffe

Ford Transit Custom body types

The Ford Transit custom has three body types to choose from. The standard Custom Van comes with several different roof and wheelbase extensions to fix the maximum carrying load. The Transit Custom Double Cab builds upon this foundation and adds an extra row of seats for three additional passengers. If people-moving is your top priority, the Transit Custom Kombi has flexible second- and third-row seating for up to 8 passengers.


Emission Saving Engine

The advanced Ford EcoBlue 2.0 litre engine helps reduce emissions and cut running costs. With the use of AdBlue, a urea/water-based fluid converter in the catalyst reduction system, NOx emissions in the exhaust split into nitrogen and water. A particulate filter then reduces over 99% of emitted solid particulates from the vehicle's exhaust. The Ford Transit PHEV is also available if you want to lower your emissions further.

A Smoother More Economical Drive

With the New Ford Transit Custom, you have the option of selecting a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. It’s designed to provide a smooth, relaxing driving experience, especially in stop-start traffic. You still have the option of changing gears manually with gear shifter buttons on the side of the gear stick. No matter how heavy your load, your Ford Transit Custom will handle smoothly and reliably.

Exceptional Interior

The New Ford Transit Custom has more than enough room to fit all your tools and materials, it can easily fit any standard 8’ x 4’ board, three-euro pallets and items up to 3m long. The van version offers a maximum of 8.3 cubic metres of space. Inside you will also find Ford SYNC 3, one of the most advanced hands-free systems to date. You can control everything from selecting music to getting live travel updates with just your phone or your voice.

Warm up on a Frosty Morning

This feature can be used to quickly defrost your windscreen, ultra-thin filaments super-heat, de-ice, de-fog and de-mist your windscreen. The Transit Custom’s new heating and air-con controls are positioned to be easily accessible by the driver, you can adjust the temperature, fan speed and airflow, along with this you can heat your seat and windows. This makes it ideal for those early starts on freezing cold days.
