The All New Mazda 2's Design Has Been Showcased At The Geneva Motor This Year. We Have Exclusive Pictures Of The Brand New Sleek Design!

Mazda have unveiled their stunning new Hazumi concept car, which gives a strong indication of the styling of the next-generation Mazda 2 hatchback. Taking its cues from the company\'s Kodo design language, the new car boasts a front bumper reminiscent of the superb new Mazda 3 while the steeply angled tailgate looks to be based on the CX-5 SUV. Mazda Hazumi Concept Car The company launched the new car at the Geneva Motor Show and it includes a range of SkyActiv fuel saving technologies, a luxurious interior and a range of efficient new engines.

We expect the new model to arrive in Sandicliffe showrooms in late 2014 or early 2015. Adam Ferdinando, head of New Car Sales at Sandicliffe, the new and used Mazda experts, said: "The 1.5-litre engine that powers the Hazumi concept car has CO2 emissions of less than 90g/km which means that the official fuel economy is more than 83 miles per gallon. Mazda Hazumi Concept Car "You will also benefit from start-stop technology and the i-ELOOP energy recuperation system which stores electricity and uses it to power features such as the headlights and climate control." The interior of the new car is, according to Car magazine, \'Audi-TT alike\' and features a matt black leather fascia and red nubuck leather seats.

The interior technology includes Mazda\'s MZD Connect system and the heads-up display as seen in the latest Mazda 3. Mazda Hazumi Concept Car Some of the more extravagant details include 18-inch alloy wheels, twin exhaust tailpipes and a split-level boot spoiler, plus ultra-slim door handles and wing mirror stalks. With the exception of these show-car details, the production-spec Mazda 2 will be almost identical - at least according to sources at What Car? magazine. "Mazda models just get better and better and this is a striking new car that combines great looks with fuel efficiency and all the latest technology," added Mr Ferdinando from Sandicliffe.

"We\'re looking forward to welcoming the new Mazda 2 to our showrooms in the next few months and giving you the chance to take this great new car for a test drive."
