We’d like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we have taken every precaution we can to guarantee you are best protected when visiting your local Sandicliffe sites for Servicing/MOT/repairs. Please see below for more information where we try to answer your questions on how we’re supporting you during this time. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
As announced by the Prime Minister, the UK will be entering a third lockdown period starting 31st December 2020. As a result, all Sandicliffe showrooms will temporarily close until further notice. You can contact us online or by telephone for any enquiries, sales or reservations.
We are also offering 0% finance across all Aftersales care across 6 months to take the pressure off any financial stresses.
For the added safety of our customers, online sales and reservations will still be available during the lockdown period thanks to our new Buy Online functionality in association with Santander. Vehicle collections and deliveries will proceed as soon as it is safe to do so.
Collections and deliveries will continue to be available.
We aim to offer our services to you in a safe and risk-free manner. For that reason, we introduced the Sandicliffe Promise at your local Sandicliffe sites which includes 6 crucial steps that strive to keep everyone in our community as safe as possible at all times.
All Sandicliffe Sales departments are now closed until further notice and given the seriousness of the situation at hand, we are unable to specify when we will re-open for bookings. We are expecting this to be no later than Monday 27th April, but should anything change, we will update you accordingly.
You may still browse our complete stock of vehicles online and make an enquiry on any vehicle you wish to find out more about. You may also use our online booking system to request an appointment any time after Monday 27th April – (again, should we need to extend our closure, we will be in touch to reschedule accordingly).
DVLA announces 6-month MOT extension
In line with UK Government advice all vehicle owners due an MOT on (or before) 30/03/2020 will need to get this renewed within the next 5 days. Vehicles due for MOT on (or after) 31/03/2020 will be granted a 6-month extension. Sandicliffe will be temporarily closing our dealerships from end of play 24th March until further notice. As it stands, our Nissan Nottingham and Loughborough MOT centres will continue to operate until the end of the month in order to finalise any MOT for any vehicles due on or before 30/03/2020 (following DVLA regulation). This may change in the near future.
Please only book if your vehicle MOT expires on (or before) 30/03/2020. If your vehicle is due after this date, your appointment cannot be accepted. Please also note there are a limited number of spaces, bookings will be made on a first come first serve basis. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
During this critical time, we’ve decided to hit pause and put the brakes on. Following government regulation, it is with a heavy heart that we announce all Sandicliffe dealerships are now temporarily closed pending further notice. Garages are open for essential work only. If you feel that during this time you may come into difficulty meeting your monthly finance repayments, please contact your finance provider as soon as possible. As Sandicliffe is not a finance provider, we are unable to make any decisions regarding payment options, but we are more than happy to assist in any way possible. For example, if you are unsure of who your finance provider may be or would like to talk to a Specialist in our Finance department for more information, please do not hesitate to give us a call on 0115 790 0087.
