05/01/2021 – Our physical dealerships are now closed until further notice. Following government advice, servicing, MOT and repairs remain open and essential for the safety of your vehicle. For your added protection, online/telephone sales and reservations are available with Click & Collect and Home Delivery options.
As your leading local dealer, Sandicliffe has put critical policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety of our staff and customers remains uncompromised. During the nationwide fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19), we aim to open our services to you in the safest ways possible whilst remaining vigilant in the process and adhering to Government guidelines.
For that reason, we have introduced the Sandicliffe Promise Against Coronavirus. These are 6 crucial steps we are taking to keep everyone in our community as safe as possible at all times.
We fully commit to meeting all guidelines set by the Government on social distancing and have visual reminders enforcing the 2-metre distance rule. Work areas and furniture in the showrooms will be organised accordingly.
Sanitisation equipment is readily available across all dealerships. Customers will be encouraged to use the hand sanitiser upon your first interaction. We have also invested in professional vehicle sanitisation equipment to ensure Key Touch Point Areas are sanitised in between test drives and before handovers.
Robust Risk Assessments for all on-site facilities and processes are carried out to fulfil Government guidance so we can promise your safety.
We have installed all the necessary protective equipment to our showrooms groupwide including Perspex Screens. In addition to this, our employees will be given the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to allow interactions at a safe distance.
To ensure our safety measures are kept up to date, we will review our procedures regularly whilst clearly communicating all processes and plans with both our staff and customers.
Staff members will be routinely monitored for COVID-19 symptoms via temperature checks and health surveys. Should a member of staff show any symptoms, our commitment to their wellbeing will result in the necessary time off work in order to self-isolate.
If you or a member of your household has experienced symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) within the last 14 days, you must stay at home until your self-isolation period has passed. It is only after you have experienced 14 days without any symptoms that you may resume visitation.
Please help keep our community safe by staying alert and controlling the virus.
In line with the Government’s latest decision, it is now mandatory for customers and visitors to be wearing a face covering when visiting us. Failure to comply could result in a fine of £100 imposed by the police.
Certain exceptions include:
Thank you for your continued co-operation and support.
Careful precautions have been introduced to enable safe test drives and vehicle handovers so you can drive away your dream car without any complaints.
As of now, you are able to take an unaccompanied test drive on a vehicle of your choice. To guarantee the safety of this procedure, the following rules have been put in place:
To speed up the process of your handover and to get you inside of your vehicle safely, you will be asked to complete admin procedures remotely before visiting the dealership. You will also receive a CitNow video presentation of your vehicle sent to your email inbox prior to visitation.
If you are a Part Exchange customer, you will be designated a parking area which will be shown in your CitNow video presentation. Please remember to remove all personal belongings from your Part Exchange vehicle and place your vehicle’s key in a plastic bag before visiting the dealership.
Your newly purchased vehicle will be parked in a designated handover bay where it will have been sanitised along with its keys. Providing all paperwork has been completed, you will be shown around the vehicle whilst maintaining social distancing.
Where an in-store collection may not be possible, your local Sandicliffe dealership will arrange for home delivery.
Please note in order to prevent the infringement of social distancing whilst delivering vehicles, we are not allowed to permit more than one Sandicliffe employee in a single vehicle at any given time. For this reason, our home delivery service is only available where a vehicle is being part exchanged and can be driven back to the dealership.
If you are not a Part Exchange customer but require home delivery, a transporter will be used to deliver your vehicle which may incur an additional charge.
As we strive to maintain a sanitised environment for our staff and customers, here are a few things you can do to join us in the fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Something as simple as washing your hands can minimise the risk of spreading Coronavirus (COVID-19). Wash your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds using soap and water or an alcohol-based sanitiser.
At Sandicliffe, we have implemented strict social distancing rules to keep 2 metres of space between one another at all times. Although this may feel unnatural at times, please remember this is necessary for the protection of both our customers and staff and must be adhered to during visitation.
We aim to carry out all elements of a sale remotely via telephone, email, Microsoft Teams or CitNow. Where this is not possible, customers will be asked prior to visiting us if you or a family member of your household has experienced symptoms within the last 14 days.
If this happens to be the case, we will reserve an appointment slot for you after the completion of a 14-day period without symptoms.
