Ford has recently announced plans to further invest in their Halewood plant at Merseyside. The government-backed investment will increase the current capacity, making the plant integral to Ford’s plans to have all zero-emission cars by 2035. Halewood’s power units will be in over 70% of Ford’s EV vehicles by 2026.

The investment will also help to secure 500 jobs, enabling Ford to upskill its workers ready for Ford’s exciting future EV plans.


An Electric future with Ford

Ford is striving to electrify their whole range by 2030, a bold move that will see 9 EVs on sale within 2 years.

Not only are they concentrating on electrifying their current range, but Ford has also announced seven brand new electric vehicles to be on the road by 2024.
