Sandicliffe Website Highly Commended at AM Awards

On the 7th of February 2019, the Automotive Management Awards were hosted at the ICC in Birmingham and we are thrilled to announce that Sandicliffe won the Highly Commended award for best website.

Apprentice Web Developer Dylan Nykolyszyn accepted the award and said: “I am incredibly happy with this result. We set out a number of goals we wanted to achieve when we began to lay out plans for our new website, and one of them was to be shortlisted for this award. As such, taking home Highly Commended in this category exceeded our goal and firmly established our new website as a success.

I was able to contribute to making the website a success, alongside the other members of our team, by developing a predictive search system, job application system and recruitment pages, updating scripts that power our website’s front and back end, updating the tools our Used Car managers use to update vehicles and add images to them, developing key pages on the website including details pages and search pages, implementing an authentication system for our Sandicliffe Shop, implementing a Shortlisting functionality that allows for vehicles to be bookmarked for future viewing, speeding up the website and much more.

This is a great achievement and Sandicliffe are proud of what our web team have managed to produce.
