Sandicliffe Put On Their Ears For Children In Need Charity 2019

Our favourite yellow bear returns to televisions around the UK tonight for the annual fundraiser that’s close to all of our hearts - Children In Need.

The broadcast appeal comes in the form of a telethon packed with celebrities for a night of great British entertainment in a bid to raise money for children all across the UK. But alongside all the fun, we’ll hear about real-life eye-opening tragedies that people just like us have lived or are living through, to remind us exactly why this charity needs our attention.

The amazing cause works hard every year to provide grants to various projects around the UK focussing on ways to better the lives of children and young people who are disadvantaged. Last year, the live show alone managed to raise a huge £50.5 million on the night, zooming past the £1 billion mark since it began in 1980!

Whilst you can expect famous faces such as Graham Norton, Tess Daly, Rochelle and Marvin Humes, and Ade Adepitan to return as your hosts tonight, please take a moment to see our local superstars who are all taking part in the cause…

The Sandicliffe Café queens - Michelle & Silvia - are bringing you fundraising realness with a bake sale! If you\'re free, why not pop over to our FordStore on Abbeyfield Road, Nottingham and try some delicious treats?

Not only has Luke Edwards (Ford Marketing Executive) put on his ears for Children In Need, but he is taking part in Movember and growing a mustache (we promise it\'s there!)

The BBC fundraiser will go live on Friday 15th November from 7:30pm across BBC One and Two but if you’re having trouble getting yourself in front of a telly at those times, you can live stream the whole event here:
