One Kia SUV in particular has stood the test of time ever since the first generation was unveiled back in 1993. The compact Kia Sportage has undergone a major facelift since then but remains one of Kia’s best-selling SUV’s available in three configurations including the impressive GT-Line!
The 1997 Kia Sportage was a particular favourite of Bridget Wharton, Landlady of The Fox Inn pub in Oadby who still owns her classic today! As you can see, the body of the all-new Kia Sportage is curvier but there’s no mistake that the 1997 Sportage looks the part next to its younger siblings! It’s been 20 years since the model was in the showroom and number 43 out of just 250 models, it has now returned. Demonstrating the contrast between the original and newer models, Bridget has kindly allowed Sandicliffe Kia Leicester to borrow her pride and joy to display for a limited time!
