2020 New Juke: Price, Specs and More

First thing’s first, the trendsetting crossover has grown in size both by width (35mm) and wheelbase (105mm) ultimately resulting in a much more spacious cabin space. This is great news for Nissan drivers as one of the main setbacks of the first-gen Juke was its super compact interior in comparison to newer, more modern crossover rivals in today’s market.

But the Juke isn’t just about increased legroom. Luggage space has expanded by 68 litres into a generous 422-litre boot space from the previous 354 litres making the New Juke boot space only marginally smaller than the brand’s best-selling SUV – the Nissan Qashqai. The 422-litre boot also receives a height-adjustable floor perfect for versatile stowage options suited to your needs.

In terms of exterior enhancements, the 2020 New Juke achieves a 13% increase in stiffness resulting in a stronger and safer driving environment with improved protection on the road. It also comes 23kg lighter to the previous model meaning the 2020 New Juke will not only benefit from a better fuel economy but better driving dynamics and performance.

“How about interior quality? From what we’ve seen it’s the best of any Nissan to date. It could even be class leading.” – What Car?

A bold claim by What Car? and we’re glad to hear it. Auto Express adds:

“From here it looks like the Juke is set, once again, to take the segment by storm.”

One of the simpler developments of the New Juke is the ability to adjust the steering wheel not only for height but for reach – something older models did not allow. This will make it much easier for drivers to find a comfortable driving position tailored to individual needs.

The 2020 New Juke comes equipped with a 7-inch glass-fronted touchscreen paired with an updated infotainment system and impressive connectivity compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (upgrade to 8-inch available). You will also be able to link up to 8 devices using wi-fi technology where you can connect to your Google Assistant or Google Home…

“Google, how many miles do I have left in the tank?”

“Google, do my tyres need inflating?”

“Google, where is the closest Nissan garage?”

The possibilities are endless!

Download the Nissan Connected Services app and take advantage of even handier features that will allow you to track/locate your Juke, lock/unlock your Juke and much more directly from your smartphone.

The 2020 New Juke will be offered with a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine armed with 115bhp and 200Nm of torque on overboost. Choose from a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed automatic transmission.

Choose the Tekna+ trim to customise the body and roof colour as well as interior upholstery and exterior bumper/side sill styling.

The 2020 New Juke ranges from £17,395 - £23,995.
