Gloworm Festival is finally here! Read on to discover all the incredible activities we’re bringing with us this year! From the 12th to the 15th of August, the Sandicliffe team are returning to Gloworm Festival for 2022! We cannot wait for the festivities to get started! We have been attending Gloworm for many years now and it is always one of the highlights of our year. Getting to meet so many happy families and telling them all about our offers and deals is always a blast. Taking place at Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire and aimed at children up to 13 years of age, we will be bringing a whole range of fun and games with us to keep everyone smiling. To get you excited for the festival, take a look at some of the incredible activities that we will be bringing with us to The Sandicliffe Zone this year!
The Sandicliffe Zone
This year, we’re bringing out the big guns for Gloworm Festival. We will offer children of all ages to express their artistic side with our ever-popular “Draw on a Car” activity. Seeing a brand new car being drawn all over by children is always a sight that shocks and amused passers-by! We will also be offering the chance to take part in the legendary Carpool Karaoke game. This year, our karaoke stage is the front of a Nissan Juke, letting you belt out your favourite songs inside a real-life “Jukebox”. This activity always brings an incredible atmosphere to The Sandicliffe Zone. When reflecting on last year\'s event, festival representatives said that “The Sandicliffe Zone was such an incredible part of the Gloworm Festival last year and it was incredible to see children let loose on one of their new vehicles. We are really looking forward to working with them again this year.” Alongside these unique activities, we will also offer a range of classic inflatable games like giant connect four and noughts and crosses. Sandicliffe sponsors “The Hive”
This year, we are sponsoring The Hive at Gloworm Festival. Aimed at tweens and teens, this cool and exciting area will feature some exciting family favourites like House of Pain Wrestling. With incredible stunts and tricks, this event is guaranteed to take your breath away. We cannot wait to see the action up close! Then, if you want to get hands-on, there will also be The Actual Reality Arcade, a life-sized interactive game zone for all ages inspired by 10 classic arcade games. Older kids will also get the opportunity to flex their creative muscles with lessons from drumming expert Kyle Comerie and DJ classes from FourFour, Nottingham’s only DJ academy.
