Claiming yet another award is the New Ford Puma, specifically its 1.0-litre EcoBoost Hybrid 155 Titanium spec. This time it's for WhatCar?'s Car of the Year: Small SUV of the Year category and here's why.

WhatCar wrote: "A small SUV's compact size mustn't come at the expense of practicality and should be reflected by low running costs. 

It should ride comfortably too while maintaining a sense of fun..."

The New Ford Puma, previously won this award last year with its 1.0-litre EcoBoost Hybrid 155 ST-Line spec as well as going on to win WhatCar?'s overall Car of the Year winner for 2020.

Since its launch early last year, the New Ford Puma has received incredible feedback for being "compact yet practical, sporty yet efficient, stylish yet affordable..."  

The small SUV from Ford uses mild-hybrid technology to deliver for improved fuel economy, reduced carbon emission and lower running costs.

Ford Puma ST: Sports SUV of the Year 2021

Recently the line-up received a high-performance ST range-topper as well as a new Vignale trim.

The Ford Puma ST 1.5 EcoBoost (with 200 Performance Pack) won Sports SUV of the Year at this year's WhatCar? Car of the Year awards due to its "entertaining handling", "tuneful, punchy, frugal engine" and the fact that the high-performance Puma ST is "relatively cheap to buy and run."
