Engaging Driving Experience

The Mazda CX-60 is a vehicle that offers a delightful driving experience and showcases the unique Japanese heritage and design philosophy that Mazda is renowned for. The car is designed to meet the needs of demanding drivers who seek elegance and boldness in their vehicle. The interior of the CX-60 offers a wide range of discreetly integrated options and driver-focused technologies that surpass expectations. It's an SUV that's perfect for drivers who appreciate quality and exciting driving dynamics.

Exceptional SkyActiv D Performance

The CX-60's new 3.3 e-SkyActiv D diesel engine boasts innovative piston and fuel-injection technology that performs exceptionally well under the hood. This combination ensures that the six-cylinder diesel engine is appropriately sized for the CX-60. In terms of emissions and fuel consumption, the 3.3 e-SkyActiv D 200 RWD model has CO2 emissions ranging from 128-130g/km and official fuel consumption of 56.5mpg.

The new diesel engine will come in two different power outputs. The first is a rear-wheel-drive model, offering 197bhp and 332lb ft of torque. The second, more powerful option will have all-wheel-drive, 251bhp, and 406lb ft of torque. Mazda suggests that it will achieve 53.3mpg and emit 137g/km of CO2. Both options are paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

The 197bhp version can achieve 0-62mph in a speedy 8.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 132mph.

Simplistic yet Stylish Interior

The CX-60's style is minimalistic, with physical controls for almost every feature subtly integrated into the design. Three digital displays are positioned in the driver's line of sight, with a head-up display providing the majority of data for those who prefer a higher seating position.

The CX-60 comes with a 12.3-inch central screen, which is standard across all models, and boasts an impressive 12-speaker Bose audio system. The infotainment system includes sat-nav, DAB radio, and streaming functions. Mazda has retained tactile controls in the form of a chunky wheel and buttons in the centre console, which can be identified by touch without needing to glance away from the road, making it a popular choice for those who prefer physical controls.

Wireless Apple CarPlay is supported with minimal lag, and Android Auto is also available. Navigation directions appear in the head-up display, and there are two USB-C ports in the centre console. If you want wireless charging, this is available with the Convenience Pack. The wireless charging pad is conveniently located and keeps the phone secure while driving.

Want all this but in an EV?

If like the look and style of the CX-60 but would prefer an EV version, look no further than the Mazda CX-60- PHEV.

The new Mazda CX-60 PHEV is an exciting addition to the Mazda line-up. It is the largest Mazda SUV offered for sale in the UK and features a number of innovative features and technologies.

One of the standout features of the CX-60 PHEV is its plug-in hybrid powertrain. This is the first time that Mazda has offered a PHEV powertrain, and it combines the power from the engine and electric motor before it is fed through an eight-speed automatic transmission. This is a departure from many of its rivals, which achieve all-wheel drive with a separate motor on the back axle.

In terms of handling and control, the CX-60 PHEV has a sophisticated suspension system and a battery and engine layout that is as low and close to the centre of the car as possible. This is designed to appeal to keen drivers and ensure a smooth and comfortable ride.

Another standout feature of the CX-60 PHEV is its towing capacity of 2,500kg. This makes it one of the few plug-in hybrids that is able to pull a caravan or trailer, and will be appealing to those who need this capability.

The Mazda CX-60 PHEV’s innovative powertrain, handling, and towing capacity sets it apart from its rivals, and it is sure to be popular with those who are looking for a large, luxurious, plug-in SUV.
