Kicking things off, we have the return of the magnificent Old Market Scare! Get your spook on in Nottingham’s Old Market Square between 25th – 31st October. Take a stroll through the Horror Hotel Live Action Maze before you hop aboard the UK’s biggest ghost train! Don’t forget to dress up in your Halloween costumes and get a piccy with the giant pumpkin – did you even go to the Market Scare if you don’t have a pumpkin pic to prove it?

If you’re looking for some good old traditional fun, why not hit Twinlakes Theme Park for the UK’s number 1 Halloween day out? That’s right, the award-winning family-friendly Scream Park is back on between 18th - 31st October with free pumpkin carving and a ghouls and ghosts family Halloween hunt! Did we mention Marty the Monster and all his friends will be there to join in the fun?

With over 20,000 free pumpkins to carve and paint, there’s enough to go around for everyone. Once you’ve carved and painted your pumpkin, be sure to make your way down to Fruity the Witch’s Wagon – “the happiest haunted place on Earth”! Inside you’ll find prizes, potions and cauldrons for the ultimate children’s magical experience. Entry to Fruity the Witch’s Wagon is £3.99 per child with an adult joining the little one for free plus children take home a little trick or treat upon departure!

But that’s not everything… The Greatest Halloween Circus show will be on at Twinlakes from 18th October to 27th October and to top it off, entry to the circus is free!

Regular admission to the park is £17 for anyone over 180cm in height and £8.50 for toddlers/seniors.

Are you a sucker for arts and crafts? Then why not get in the festive mood by baking some deliciously spooky biscuits and designing a frightening Halloween-inspired mask to match?

You’ll need to book in advance by calling 0115 915 6878 to guarantee your 45-minute slots at both events. There are only 6 spots available on each day so if this is something you want to get involved in, you’ll want to act quick.

Bake some yummy treats on Saturday 26th October and design your frightful mask on 31st October just in time for trick or treating!

Calling all Harry Potter fans!!! You’ve read the books, you’ve seen the films, but now it’s time to take a trip to Nottingham’s very own Hogwarts – the Thoresby Academy of Wizardry! Join witches and wizards alike between 19th October – 3rd November for an experience you won’t forget…

Be sorted into a house and discover your spirit animal before exploring the magical castle and park. Your painting skills will come handy when designing your very own rock which will be added to the trail on the day, but don’t worry, you’ll get to take it home before you leave.

Prepare yourself for a chilling experience at this year’s Halloween Club. Head on to a haunted National Ice Centre in Nottingham for a fangtastic evening like no other. Expect ghosts, ghouls, slime, zombies, vampires and all things scary! Make sure you and the kids and are looking boo-tiful for the fancy-dress competition where the most spookily dressed ice skater will take home a treat!

Begin your night at the Scaries & Fairies family party before putting your dancing skates on for the ghostly neon-lit Halloween Club Party – expect spooky face painting, photobooth filters and good old slime fun to end the night.

The Halloween Club is one party you won’t want to miss – the only that sucks about it are the vampires!
