2021 Ford Puma ST Revealed: Exclusive Images, Details, Price & More

The highly-teased 2021 Puma ST has been revealed and it\'s as bold as we anticipated. Debuted in its \'Mean Green\' colourway, the 2021 Puma ST is somewhat reminiscent of the extremely popular, now-discontinued Ultimate Green Ford RS performance hatch, so first impressions are good.

Hot new addition - Puma ST - now joins Ford\'s Performance line-up with a power output of 197bhp and 320Nm of torque and will go on sale early next year with prices starting from £28,495.

The first in its segment, the new Puma ST is a hot crossover bolstered by its sporty looks (not quite the same ring to it as a hot-hatch, we know). The new range-topping Puma enjoys unmistakably sporty treatment through an ST-specific styling pack.

This includes a new front grille designed to improve airflow and cooling, the iconic ST badge and a splitter that has been employed to increase front downforce by 80% in comparison to the standard Puma.2021 Puma ST in Mean Green parked in city

There\'s no denying the debut of the Ford Puma ST was a show-stopping spectacle and we can thank that partly to the electric \'Mean Green\' colourway of the model, but whether you choose to keep the green or opt for one of the other more conventional colours on offer, exterior elements such as the roof, spoiler, front grille surround, wing mirrors and side panels will always be delivered in black.

Storage remains the same as the standard Puma model with the sports variant retaining the innovative 80-litre Mega Box and 456-litre boot area.

Safety tech such as Cross Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control and Local Hazard Information are all standard on the 2021 Puma ST. Whilst Cross Traffic Alert can sense and prevent potential collisions with oncoming vehicles, Adaptive Cruise Control automatically adjusts your cruise control speed based on the vehicle ahead, maintaining a safe distance. It also recognises various traffic signs and can adjust your speed accordingly.

When it comes to power the Ford Puma swaps out its mild-hybrid 1.0-litre 3-cyling turbo petrol engine for a 1.5-litre turbo engine - the same one used in the much-loved Fiesta ST.

Prices for the 2021 Puma ST will start at £28,495.

The new Puma ST is set to launch early next year. Enquire at your local Sandicliffe Ford dealership to see if you can reserve - what is going to be - one of the year\'s hottest releases.
