Come and see the Ford Ranger Raptor this weekend!

Come and see the Ford Ranger Raptor this weekend!

Following its reveal in February, the powerful performance truck, the Ford Ranger Raptor will be at Sandicliffe FordStore Nottingham between 26th & 27th January.

With the Ford Ranger already being the UK’s best-selling pickup, it only seemed right that the UK got this powerful machine! The Raptor comes with a 10-speed automatic 2.0-litre twin turbo diesel engine, good for 210bhp and 500Nm torque. The Ranger Raptor also comes with 6 different driving modes, 2 for on-road and 4 for off-road driving.

Ahead of its launch later this year the All-New Ford Ranger Raptor will be at Sandicliffe FordStore Nottingham for an exclusive sneak preview on the 26th & 27th January, this is your chance to meet the beast.

Ford has added a few touches to make the Ford Ranger more than just a commercial vehicle, with the power and equipment put in, it shares more similarities with the Ford Performance Range. On the outside, a new grille has been fitted, LED fog lamps in the front bumper which have been flared to accommodate larger wheels which makes for extra ground clearance. The bumpers are made out of composite material to help them withstand any dents. To reduce mud, sand or snow getting built up, the side steps have holes in them to allow it to easily sink through.

On the inside there is plenty of space, the seats have been uniquely designed to give more support when at high speeds and off-road, the suede seats help create friction to keep you in place. To help you know when your wheels are straight, Ford has added a red strip to the steering wheel.

To endure the power and speed produced from the Ford Ranger Raptor, the chassis has been upgraded, making the frame tougher, the suspensions more comfortable and the brakes sturdier. A bash plate protects the underneath of the vehicle whilst the tyres come with a special tread that improves grip in all terrain.

The technology inside the Raptor is designed with the driver-in-mind. The Sat-Nav offers a ‘breadcrumb’ feature that allows you to lay a trail when you are off road to easily find your way back. The Raptor also has; Trailer Sway Controls, Electronic Stability Controls and a Rear-view camera.

The Ford Ranger Raptor is set to reach the UK in 2019 and will be available at your local Sandicliffe Ford dealership, but you can come and see it this weekend at Sandicliffe FordStore Nottingham, you can find out more about the event online and follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up-to-date with everything Ford.
