Halloween is creeping up on us and if you are stuck for ideas on how to really celebrate, well you’re in for a treat. We have summed up some of the best alternative Halloween events happening across Nottingham!

The Original Nottingham Ghost Walk - Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem 28th - 31st October – Tours at 6:30, 7:00 and 7:30

 The Original Nottingham Ghost Walk takes place every Saturday evening throughout the year but expect an extra special scare for Halloween. As Nottingham’s past is revealed in the shadow of the castle, Nottingham’s graveyards and even underground! Dare you go along? Tickets are £6.00 (14+) £3.00 (9-13) per person.

Hand & Heart Halloween Beer Festival - Hand & Heart, Derby Road - 26th – 31st October

 In its 7th annual year, the Hand & Heart Halloween Beer Festival returns with an array of local beers and ales. As well as great entertainment and live music from numerous acts over the three days and some spooky seasonal twists. With some well-known Halloween tunes! Free, arrive early to avoid crowds!

Fright Post Farm - White Post Farm - 30th & 31st October 

If you are looking for a fun evening for all the family then head to an ‘eerie evening’ at White Post Farm. Enjoy the fun of an interactive theatre show, learn to fly a broom make potions and even get lost in a haunted house, as well as the animals taking part in the frights there will also be brilliant birds of prey there!

The eerie evenings cost £10 per person, alternatively you can book online to save yourself 10%! Make sure you wear fancy dress!

Xtreme Scream Park – Twinlakes Park – 18st – 31th October – 7pm – 11pm or 8pm – Midnight

 Think you’re tough? Tough enough to survive a haunted maze or a haunted house? How about 6 exclusive haunted attractions? Well now is your chance to see a darker side of Twinlakes. Test your aim with zombie paint baling and try not to become infected yourself! If you’re too chicken for that you can enjoy the live music and live entertainment including fire breathers and street theatre

Tickets vary in price, starting from £21.99 for all the attractions or £8.99 for entry to the park only.
