Mountune M400 Upgrade For the Ford Focus RS

Ford performance tuner, Mountune have announced a new upgrade for the Ford Focus RS. The M400 upgrade will be expected to improve performance figures by a large margin from the Focus RS' 4.7 second 0-62mph standard figures.

The M400 upgrade kit will be the second to be released by Mountune for the new MK3 Focus RS. The predecessor FPM375 package increased performance to 370bhp, 4.5 second 0-62mph and 165mph top speed.

The new upgrade kit will cost £2,912 increasing power up to 395bhp and 560Nm of torque and will also include a new high-flow induction kit, an engine management remap, new exhaust system, a new intercooler, mTune features, data logging and a special dyno mode. The package will raise the power output without affecting the longevity of the Focus RS' engine. The extras will also remove the back pressure in the exhaust resulting in more efficient performance.

The only downside to the Mountune M400 upgrade is the Ford warranty will no longer be valid due to the mechanical upgrades, this is something that you should be aware of if you are using the upgraded vehicle regularly rather than just to show off at the weekends.
