Record Six Months at Trent Bridge Car Dealership

The Trent Bridge branch of Sandicliffe Motor Group enjoyed its most successful ever sales period in the six months to July 2007, selling 20 per cent more new cars than in the previous year.

The record-breaking results make Trent Bridge one of the best-performing branches in the region. They follow the appointment of several highly experienced sales professionals.

Ford expert, Wayne Smith was appointed Sales Manager of the new cars division in November last year, and has since hired five new team members – New Business Manager Lee Wilkinson and salespeople Gemma Dyer, Joel Pilcher, Wendy Asher and David Vaughan. The five have a combined experience exceeding 75 years.

Reg Tutt, Managing Director of Sandicliffe, said: “Wayne and his team have done a great job since we purchased the former Hartwell’s dealership. They all love their work and work very hard to supply Midlands car buyers with the highest quality vehicles.”

Wayne originally joined the Sandicliffe Motor Group as an apprentice straight from school 12 years ago. He said: “Our recent sales success shows just how well our investment in high calibre staff has paid off for our customers, and for the company. There’s plenty more to come – watch this space!”
