Sandicliffe Motor Group appoints new branch manager at new Basford site

Sandicliffe Motor Group, the East Midlands family-owned car retailer has expanded its growing team with the appointment of Branch Manager at the New Basford site, Alan Worboys.

Alan, 37, will be responsible for implementing the motors group’s sales structure - ensuring that the levels of customer service are reflected in both customer satisfaction and increased sales. Alan will lead a team of 9 at the New Basford site, which currently sells in the region of 55 cars per month.

Alan, originally from Mansfield, has 15 years experience in customer services including 5 years as General Sales Manager at another multi franchise site, where his role saw him managing a 17 strong team and being responsible for new and used sales.

On his appointment Alan, said: "I am thrilled to have joined the team at Sandicliffe to manage the New Basford site. I am looking forward to working with the team to improve the sales and customer satisfaction."

Nigel Falkiner, Head of Group Marketing at Sandicliffe said: "Alan is a key appointment for us. He brings with him a wealth of experience that will help him to develop and enhance the existing New Basford site."

Sandicliffe Motors is one of the county’s largest Ford Retail Groups, now with a total of 9 dealerships in the East Midlands plus Suzuki, Kia, Fiat, Chevrolet and servicing for MG Rovers owners.
