"Some customers buy on price. Some customers buy on trust and
service. Here at Sandicliffe, we focus on both. Maybe it’s this
that’s kept us selling and servicing cars and vans now for over
sixty years or maybe it’s the people we employ. Either way, the
strategy is simple - stay in business by making customers want to
come back. To make this possible, my teams will constantly offer
the very best service at the lowest price possible."

“I believe one of the main differences between Sandicliffe
Service and say, a non-franchise garage or 'Fast-Fit' is down to
the manufacturer training and development. In some cases,Sandicliffe Technicians spend as long as 10 days every year learning about new technology along with the best
ways to take care of the customer’s needs. This helps me work efficiently and effectively on any make or model”.

“You’ll find that most engines today can only be maintained
using plug-in technology. That’s why every Sandicliffe Service & Repair Centre uses manufacturer supplied hand-held diagnostic equipment to help guarantee each vehicle comes
out running smooth and efficiently. This helps locate problems
fast and that saves customers time and money. What will they
think of next?”.

“Cheap is not always cheerful. Where I come from, performance
is everything and so we never use non-genuine or counterfeit parts to make a customer’s bill appear cheaper.
The parts used on your vehicle will always fit right and because
they come with a proper nationwide guarantee, they will last
longer and in effect, cost less in the long run.
It wouldn’t be me if I also failed to mention that our parts stock
is the biggest in the East Midlands!”.

“I love taking care of older cars and vans - no matter what their
age or requirement. With a vast understanding across all
makes and models, we can carry out any maintenance job at
the lowest price possible. Without cutting corners or falling short
on courtesy and customer surveys, we're as affordable as anyone out there on service, MOT, tyres and exhausts -
and that's our promise”.

“Not only do our manufacturers check to see if you’re happy,
we do too. I’m in the all-important CRM team and as well as
keeping all your servicing records up to date, it’s our job to find
out what we can do to make things better. In fact, if you do have
some feedback, you don’t have to wait for us to call, just ‘ping’ Reg, our Managing Director from sandicliffe.co.uk.
Not many other organisations out there offer this facility”.

“I find Sandicliffe now service a lot of cars where the owner has
taken out a Service Plan. This is where the cost of the service
becomes fixed against inflation on the day the plan was taken
out. Then what happens is, we evenly spread the annualcost with twelve interest free payments and this can keep
going for as long as the customer likes. I think it’s the most cost
effective way of paying for all routine servicing, plus, we always
add in one or two other little luxuries too”.

Name: John Judson
Role: Workshop Controller
Age: 63
Length of continued service with Sandicliffe: 44 years
Hobbies: Gardening; Scout management
“I’ve seen a few changes at Sandicliffe across the years but now, I see
with over 100 Sandicliffe Service Technicians hard at work, we service
and repair around 100,000 vehicles every year - a slightly higher
number compared to when the company was formed back in 1948.
What hasn't changed however is the genuine approach and attitude
of the teams towards the customer. In fact, many customers actually ‘adopt’ a Sandicliffe Technician and as a result, become friends
with who will be working on their vehicles for years to come. Ask
about adopting your favourite Sandicliffe Technician today – lot’s do!”
